Mission Statement
Access the power that moves you
An embodied movement practice is nourishment for your life, your body, your Self. To have an embodied movement practice is to be empowered to make choices from within. In 30 minutes of choosing, you can benefit for your entire day. I teach people how to access the power that moves them.
Principles
MY Principles
These principles are explored through body-centered movement. The overall intention is to be in relationship with the body/engaged with the body in a way that I can recognize what my body needs. I am nourishing my whole being my choosing movements every time I practice. Listening in through sensation and allowing the intention to move up through my body. I can hear my body speaking to me when I tune into sensation, or ‘orienting within’. When I orient within, a movement can emerge that can support who I am right now. Who I always am is a physical being on this planet.
Bringing the Movement from the Ground Up.
We need to connect to our environment before we embody it. If we leave the practice when we leave the studio, what are we leaving behind? Enjoy the benefits of the practice. With an embodied approach, I am planting the seeds from which I can blossom or grow into the day. Building the life-force energy without leaving it.
